Turns out I was kind of a hoarder when I was younger. As I looked through the boxes I started to understand why my parents wanted to get rid of this stuff. One box was filled with letters and postcards, and it was a hard box to go through, there were letters and postcards from my Grandparents and I cried like a baby reading through them, I kept most of these, those are treasures and really don't take up too much room. There are also boxes and boxes of artwork, sticker books (which I kept) and grade cards. Turns out, I wasn't much of an artist when I was younger either.
| Yep, that's how I used to spell my name |
I really don't have the room for all of this stuff, and considering that I didn't know that I still had most of it, I decided that I might be better to just get rid of it. I decided to take photos of some of the things, so that if I was every nostalgic enough to miss it, at least I would have a picture of it. I will tell you it felt pretty good to throw all this stuff out. So, if you don't mind, let's stroll down memory lane a bit.
| So I'm not sure if this is from High School or College, that I used them for both. |
This is a Barbie Summer Shape Up poster, why would I have kept this?
Freddy Hal's Birthday Card, showed it to him, he was unimpressed.
Apparently, I was a crafty girl even back then. Blocked out the phone number b/c my parents have had the same number for like 45 years or something like that.
Bumpers!
This is pretty neat, a little plate from When William, the Prince of Whales, was born, thinking this was my Grandma's. I still have this.
The sad part of this is, that I still have boxes at my parents, but I'm sure they will continue to sneak them into my car when I leave after a visit.
Have a Great Sunday Night!

Did you get rid of the Prince William plate? I was with her in London when he was born.
