Recipes I owe people....

I'm so far behind on everything.  I owe people some recipes, and though I've reached out independently to them, I thought maybe everyone else would like them.

Lime Sherbet Punch

We made this for my cousin's wedding shower.  It's a Paula Deen, so you know it's good.  Click here for the recipe.

Pepperoni Bread

So if you ever came over to my house when I was growing up to swim or if you have attended one of my parent's famous tailgate parties in Columbus (Go Bucks!) you have had this.  It has been passed around so much that I have no idea where or who it comes from.  Enjoy!

What you need:

Ball of dough (16 oz.) - thawed and raised (this will take a few hours)
olive oil
pepperoni (some people also like to add browned Italian sausage)
mozzarella cheese

How to do it:

You will notice that I didn't give alot of measurements, but this is one of those recipes where everything is kinda to taste.  So I recommend the first time you make it having a full package of each (you can always make two!)

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees, roll out your dough.  Cover one side in a thin layer of olive oil, then top with pepperoni (and sausage) and the cheese.  Start at one end and 'roll' it all together.  Bake for about 30 to 35 minutes, it will brown on top.

Sour Cream Coffee Cake

This is a great dish to make up the night before for breakfast the next day.

What you Need:

Batter

1 1/2 cups of Flour
1 tsp of baking powder
1/2 tsp of baking soda
1 cup of sugar
1/2 cup of butter, softened
1cup of sour cream
2 eggs, beaten

Topping

1/2 cup of nut (optional)
1 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 cup of brown sugar

How to do it:

Pre-heat the oven to 375 degrees.  Grease a 9 inch pan.  Mix all the ingredients for the batter in a large mixing bowl, mix all of the topping ingredients together in another bowl.

Pour 1/2 of the batter into the pan, cover with all of the topping, and then add the remaining batter.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.

Very Good!!  Enjoy!!
