So, how did you do this week?
I did pretty good.
I set my menu for Thanksgiving, I went very traditional. I will be sharing some special recipes over the next couple of weeks.
Turkey
Mashed Potatoes with Gravy
Green Bean Casserole
Sweet Potato Casserole
Homemade Stuffing
Fresh Cranberry Sauce
Rolls
Sweet Potato Cheesecake
Pumpkin Pie
Cherry Pie
My mouth is totally watering as I type this.
So, we took a picture this weekend at the Shedd Aquarium (side note - on any visit to Chicago, this is a MUST see), and I thought it would turn out funnier and we could use it for our Christmas card, but now I'm not sure. Thoughts?
So, what to do this week?
Wednesday - Have a Great Halloween, take a ton of pictures, post them to Facebook for all your friends to see. Eat LOTS of candy (interesting fact: the average adult will eat 2.5 lbs. of candy on Halloween, wondering if that counts the weeks leading up to and after)

Thursday - Hit the Walmart, or Target (or both!) on way to work, at lunch, or after work to stock up on Halloween decorations for next year and candy to use in your holiday baking.
Rest of the Week:
Take your Halloween decorations down (by Saturday) and decorate for Thanksgiving. I have a few crafts I'll be sharing this week to help you.
Put together your Black Friday wish list. Also, if you have signed up for alerts (as stores release/leak their ads) at BlackFriday.com - also now is a good time to assemble your team (more on this next week)
Next week, it will be time to order Christmas cards, get busy on your designs!
Ok, that is alot. Enjoy Halloween. I'll be back later this week with some great fall crafts and some awesome recipes to get use that Halloween candy for!
