Product Review: Perfect Tortilla Maker
Last week while we were watching TV we came across the ad for these. Hubby was hooked. I have to admit that I seen the ad before that because I'm a super fan of the 'Perfect Brownie Pan' I was in. I'm not one to order off of TV, but I spotted these at Target last week, and once I mentioned that to Hubby he was like, 'you must go back and get those' so I did. They were $10.99 - and I was willing to pay the extra .99 for the ability to get them at store and not in the mail (probably works out cheaper with the shipping and handling). Although mine did not come with the recipe guide or 'Cut and Cup' bummer.
So, we put together all the fixing for me super taco bowls, grilled chicken (see marinade recipe here) and steak, cilantro lime rice, black beans, lettuce, pico, and sour cream. My mouth is watering as I type this. While Hubby was grilling the meat, I set to make the bowls.
Could not have been easier. 6 minutes in a 400 degree oven and it's done. They hold up really well when you stuff them the way that we did.
Bottom line, I totally recommend these, especially if you are big salads as a main course for dinner kinda family. Here is the finished product.
Here is the website if you want to check it out..
