State of Ohio, right? Totally not on purpose!
What you will need?
1 - ball of frozen dough (this will make 2 pizzas)
1/2 - cup of olive oil
2 - cups of tomato sauce or pizza sauce (you can also you meat sauce)
1/4 - lb of sliced provolone cheese
1 - cup of mozzarella cheese (or more if you like!)
toppings of your choice, we went with pepperoni
How to do it.
About 3 hours before you are going to be ready to make the pizzas set out your frozen pizza dough out on a plate (word of warning if you are going to cover it, spray some non stick spray on wax paper - do not cover it with a kitchen towel - just trust me!)
After the dough has risen, divide in half and roll it out into 2 flat pieces. Cover each with a generous amount of olive oil. While you are rolling out the dough start your grill, you will want it on medium, allow it to heat up (you want it hot when you drop the dough)
Cynfully Wonderful Mom is totally great at rolling out dough.
Once the grill is hot, place your dough on it, olive oil down. You will leave it on there until the dough on the bottom becomes rigid (and has grill marks), and top begins to bubble. About 10 mins, but KEEP AN EYE ON IT.
Do you see the bubbles?
Remove from the grill and add your toppings.
Yes, that is homemade sauce in the background, where do you think I got all of this from?
Here is the tricky part, getting it back on the grill with all the toppings on it.
Close the lid, and let it cook until the cheese has melted, another 10 mins or so.
Carefully, remove it from the grill (I suggest 4 hands and two flippers to accomplish this).
