A (Semi) Homemade St. Patrick's Day Treat
Happy St. Patrick's Day!!
This is a cute little treat, with my 2 favorite ingredients, good and easy.
What you Need:
1 - white cake mix (any kind)
16-24 St. Patrick's Day themed cupcake papers (I got mine at Michael's - 50% off)
1 - 3oz (4-serving size) lime gelatin
1 - can of white frosting
16-24 thin mint cookies (or another option, those cute little chocolate coins wrapped in gold)
green colored sugar
How to do it:
Prepare the cupcakes following the directions on the box. Let them cool for about 1/2 after they are out of the oven.
Next, using a fork, gently poke the tops of the cupcakes.
Prepare the gelatin to pack directions, before you pour remaining into a dish, using a teaspoon, pour one teaspoon over each cupcake.
Refrigerate for 1 hour. Next, frost each cupcake, sprinkle with green colored sugar, and place a thin mint on top.
