Irish Nachos

Who doesn't love nachos?
What is not to like?
I can make it better.
French Fries.
Boom!

I make these alot on gameday Saturdays in the fall.  They would also make a good addition to your St. Patrick's party spread.

These are super easy.

*Waffle Fries (they are bigger and hold more /good stuff!)
*Browned ground beef (I like the 85/15 less grease)
Shredded Cheddar cheese (as much or as little as you would like)
Sour Cream
Diced Tomatoes (optional)
diced chives or green onions

* Use this rule, if you use a whole bag of fries, you will want to use 3/4 - 1 lb of ground beef, so if you are making only a 1/2 bag of fries, use 1/2 of pound of beef

Following the instructions on the fries, bake them until they are brown.  At the same time brown your ground beef.  Once the fries are done, drain the as much grease off the beef as possible.

Top fries with the ground beef and then the cheese.

Pop back in the oven for 3-5 mins, until cheese is melted.

Top with sour cream, tomatoes and green onion/chives.

Enjoy!
