Grill Ready Steak Shish Kabobs
The 4th of July is my favorite Holiday, hands down, and not just because it around my Birthday.
We usually spend the weekend going from festival to festival depending on what band for the 80's was playing, eating great food and dancing the nights away.
Well, 2020 made sure that wasn't going to happen this year. As with mostly everyone else, this year will be alittle quieter at our house. The plan is work on some projects around the house, grill some tasty food and watch our neighbor set off fireworks.
We are planning on Steak Kabobs this weekend.
Not only are they delicious, but it is perfect for dinner if you are expecting company, because it can be prepped hours before it needs to go on the grill. I really recommend marinating the meat and I found a really good from Blackberry Babe. I like this recipe for 2 reasons, I already had everything in my pantry to make it, and I could marinate it for up to 24 hours, so I prepped everything the night before after dinner.
We do really simple kabobs.
Meat.
Mushrooms.
Onion.
Peppers.
Here is the other trick that I use when making kabobs. I make everything separately, and then mix them together on the serving plate. I do this to ensure that the meat is cook thoroughly, and veggies are not over cooked. The meat can go on a few minutes before, and the veggies towards the end.
I hope that everyone has a very safe and very fun 4th of July weekend.
Enjoy!
